addition, the original graphic novel, created by Steve

Niles and Ben Templesmith

for IDW Publishing, was named Comic of the

This has been a tremendous week for our

company, says Ted Adams, IDWs

CEO. The audience and industry response to 30

Days of Night is testimony to the enormous creativity and appeal of

the comics genre. Furthermore, working with Columbia Pictures and Ghost

House Pictures on the movie version was a terrific experience. It was

the first one of our titles to go Hollywood

and we couldnt be more pleased with the

result. Were very excited about working more

closely with studios to bring our portfolio of titles to life on screen.
